El nuevo gran héroe del mundo se llama Bridger Walker, tiene 6 años y salvó a su hermana del ataque de un perro en la ciudad de Cheyenne, Estados Unidos, el pasado 14 de julio.

El acto causó tanto asombro que ahora los actores de la saga Avengers se disputan su atención con increíbles regalos entre los que se encuentran el escudo del Capitán América y la invitación de Tom Holland a las grabaciones de Spider-Man 3.

Hey, all. Please, share my nephew’s story so that it gets as much exposure as it can. We know that our little hero would love some words of encouragement from his favorite heroes. On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. His wounds are looking so much better! He’s in great spirits, and his awesome personality is intact. He can’t smile too widely yet, but he was grinning as I read some of your comments to him. I’d also like to mention here that the dog’s owners are really great people who have been nothing but kind to Bridger and his family. We feel no resentment toward them at all, and—if anything—there’s only been an increase of love between our families as a result of this incident. EDIT 2: Once again we’re blown away by the amazing comments and messages that Bridger’s receiving. I’ve had lots of inquiries about a GoFundMe. Bridger’s family has asked that any one wishing to help out financially can, instead, donate to @mission_22 or @wwp. Bridger is also a huge fan of Science, especially Geology. So I’m going to start a post where people can share with him pictures of cool rocks that they see. EDIT 3: Once again, everyone’s kindness has meant so much to us. Así es, un video en Twitter muestra la videollamada que tuvieron el intérprete del Hombre Araña y el niño, a quien le dedica tiernas palabras de apoyo como que su hermana es muy afortunada de tenerlo, que está muy orgulloso de él y que lo que hizo es asombroso y prueba que es una persona valiente.

En el mismo clip Walker le confiesa que su superhéroe favorito es precisamente Spider-Man y que en el instante que le entró la llamada se encontraba viendo la segunda película, que por cierto, es su favorita. En consecuencia, Holland no dudó en invitarlo al set una vez que inicien las grabaciones que se vieron forzados a posponer debido a la pandemia por coronavirus.

Pero el actor no ha sido el único en felicitar al niño, pues Robert Downey (Iron Man), le prometió una gran sorpresa para su próximo cumpleaños, por lo que le pidió que no se olvide de invitarlo, pues a pesar de que Chris Evans le dio su escudo, lo que le tiene preparado es mil veces mejor.

Bridger Walker sufrió graves heridas tras el ataque en el que estuvo a punto de perder el ojo izquierdo, además de que necesitó 100 puntos de sutura en su rostro, principalmente en la mejilla. Cuando pudo hablar sobre el incidente contó que cuando vio a su hermana en peligro, lo primero que se cruzó por su mente fue que si alguien debía morir, era él.
